The west of Scotland is famed for its stunning scenery and with this past weeks beautiful weather we were lucky enough to snap this stunning sunset looking down Loch Feochan towards the Ross of Mull.  This view is a 5 minute drive from Lagganmore House so any drive from the house towards Oban will take you past this beautiful view, breathtaking whatever the weather. A trip down to Isle of Seil via the Bridge over the Atlantic  will give you more opportunities for stunning views out to the west.  Following the road down to Ellenabeich you can take a stroll along the slate beaches or a small boat trip out to Easdale Islands, famed for its World Stone Skimming Championships in September.  Here you can explore one of the slate isles, accessible only by foot, there are no cars on Easdale Island but a museaum of island life and stunning cafe and hall that often hosts live music events.
